Hello Geoffrey,

From the first time I heard your voice back in 2007, and listened to your description of the beautiful moment you shared with your daughter, Lily, I was hooked. I haven't stayed fully engaged in the process of the writing of your book, but I am watching because I know I will absolutely love it.

warm regards, Barb

Thanks so much for the comments folks. They warm my heart. AND, give me fuel to jump back in.

A few of the comments that came in via email:

" ... so interesting – I often came to see various academic articles of mine as jigsaw puzzles without the cover and sometimes without all of the pieces and would describe it to folks that way! AND, when I got to that point, it always was near the very end! Ganbaremasu – a Japanese word that has no English translation but is sort of a hang in there but with a spirit that doesn’t correspond to any English." -- EB

"...love how you describe the writing process and huge congratulations on your courage and stamina as you weave a tapestry that reflects what you have imagined. Bravo! Looking forward." -- DD

"...Gosh what a journey!" -- KS

"...a true tectonic shift, Geoff. So glad that you feel good about this new direction. Even better--that this time you, who I’m sure have done the same for others, are the beneficiary of fruitful critique. You deserve this good karma..." -- MF

So you with the help of your characters will bring the story to finished crafting!

Geoff, I have never seen you this excited, yet content with the novel - such a good omen. I am not comparing, but I thought of Anne Rice and how invested and in love she was with her characters. They remain classic and iconic and that doesn’t happen without the author’s love and heart and soul. So by your knowing them better, bonding with them so to speak, as well as adding these other new revelations and revisions, I offer all best wishes. Thank you for sharing your journey.
